Our original recipe - Almond Anise - is an old family recipe, brought to America from the hills of Tuscany, Italy nearly a century ago by Suzy's great-grandmother. Yes, Suzy is a real person, and she founded the company in 1985. For many years the biscotti were baked out of a small facility in San Francisco, CA. In 2004 Suzy was ready to move on, and Biscotti di Suzy was acquired by new owners -- Crunchy Foods. We retained the brand name, along with the much loved recipes, so customers could continue to find this unique biscotti on the shelves of their favorite retailer. In 2005 the company relocated across the bay to Oakland, CA. We now have a much larger facility to bake even more biscotti for our growing legion of satisfied customers around the country who rave about our "softer" yet crunchy, twice baked cookies.
